Happy Halloween :)

I had a great time participating in Huntingdon and Mount Union Halloween parades.  My float was all about promoting Farm Safety.  My float looked like a barn. It had a lot of corn stocks and haybails.  My little cousins, friends, and niece all helped me by dressing up as little farm animals.

We went to Walmart and we stocked up on a lot of candy. This was suppose to be enough for both parades, but that wasn't the case.  My farm animals through it all just in the Huntingdon Parade.  We had to go back for me.

This was a great time and a great experience to me.  I hope I helped atleast a few people learn a little about the importance of Farm Safety.

The Farm Safety 4 Just Kids program began in the fall of 1986, when 11-year old Keith Algreen suffocated in a gravity flow wagon of shelled corn on his family's Iowa farm. After her son's unforeseen death, Keith's mother, Marilyn Adams, began a campaign to promote farm safety awareness. In the process, she discovered that an alarmingly high number of children are injured or killed on farms each year. So now,
The mission of Farm Safety 4 Just Kids is to promote a safe farm environment to prevent health hazards, injuries, and fatalities to children and youth.
